About Us

Pam Rigden MA, BSc (Hons), Lead Trainer and Coach at Bringing NLP to Life, began her working life in social care. She developed a landmark project for Brighton Health Authority – a workscheme for adults with mental health issues – which still operates from the same premises twenty years later. Following this success she went on to set up and manage a small independent social enterprise.

After qualifying as an NLP Master Practitioner, Coach and Trainer (2001 – 2003) Pam designed NLP Training for Fitness Professionals, the first course of its type in the world. Subsequently recognised as one of the world’s leading experts in the application of NLP and Coaching to health and wellbeing, she has presented at conferences in both the UK and internationally in the USA, Australia and most recently Canada.

In 2008 Pam was head hunted by Maureen Hagan, Vice President of Goodlife Fitness and Education Director for Can-Fit-Pro, the world’s largest fitness organisation, to design a Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching Programme (based on the ICF Core Competencies).

Whilst living in Canada, in July 2010, Pam was invited by Heather McTaggart of Classroom Connections in Toronto to deliver a series of personal development workshops to participants of Change it Up; a Vocational Skills Training Programme for First Nations Youth (aged 16-25 years) on the Chipeweyan Prairie First Nation, Janvier, Northern Alberta. This was a pivotal experience in Pam’s career leading to the decision that it was the right time to apply her skills in a different context, specifically within a social care environment.

Pam has since moved back to the UK to be closer to her family and is living in Lymington, Hampshire. She works part time as a Mentor to students with learning disabilities and / or mental health issues at Southampton University and Winchester School of Art.

Pam brings her NLP and Coaching Skills to everything that she does; hence the name Bringing NLP to Life.

Pam is an accredited member of the International NLP Trainer’s Association (INLPTA); a worldwide association of professional NLP Trainers and Master Trainers, who are dedicated to establishing and maintaining the highest quality standards in NLP Training.
